2021 Vulkanland Steiermark DAC Sauvignon Blanc trocken, Styria/Steiermark, Austria

Quite bright, somewhat smoky-reductive, planty to herbal and almondy pome fruit scent with fresh grassy aromas and a hint of gooseberry and melon. Lean, bright, still slightly yeasty fruit with noticeable acidity, hints of candy and mint, has some grip, some persistence, chalky tones, good to very good finish.
