2020 Vulkanland Steiermark Pinot Gris trocken, Styria/Steiermark, Austria

Relatively cool, somewhat vegetal and lightly nutty core and stone fruit nose with slightly bacony and mushroomy hints and a touch of red berries. Youthful, slightly sweet fruit with delicate melting, lively acidity, hints of pepper and turmeric, quite good persistence, some light tobacco and a hint of salt in the good, very slightly muted finish
