2021 Südsteiermark DAC Ried Schusterberg Morillon Erste STK Ried trocken, Styria/Steiermark, Austria

Smoky and herbaceous-vegetable nose, also hints of tobacco with concentrated aromas of ripe citrus fruit, moderate barrel tones and cooling minerality. Ripe, melting, somewhat warm fruit, slightly buttery tones, nevertheless firm structure with grip and marbling, very fine acidity, persistent and dense on the palate, nutty and slightly smoky wood notes, again cool minerality in the background, good depth, still young, quite complex, very good, concentrated, juicy, smoky and woody-spicy finish.
