2021 Südsteiermark DAC Ried Schusterberg Sauvignon Blanc Erste STK Ried trocken, Styria/Steiermark, Austria

Firm and quite deep, slightly warm, somewhat nutty, bacony and vegetable aroma of yellow fruit with nuances reminiscent of fennel, medicinal herbs and surimi. Clear, ripe, juicy fruit with delicately creamy, slightly nutty and roasted wood notes as well as hints of dark berries, lively acidity, has some grip, good substance and persistence, salty minerality, mussel shells and a hint of seaweed in the background, very good, firm, animating finish with a hint of smoke and mustard seeds.
