2021 Südsteiermark DAC Ried Schusterberg Grauburgunder Erste STK Ried trocken, Styria/Steiermark, Austria

Relatively cool, firm, somewhat vegetal to herbaceous and nutty pomaceous and stone fruit nose with fine vegetal and light mushroomy notes, pineapple and a hint of butter. Polished, firm, juicy fruit with a slightly sweetish melt, some dark berries and hints of bacon, lively acidity, has a grip of ripe tannin, good persistence, a certain depth, salty minerality, lardo, also some mussel shells, very good, very slightly peppery finish with plenty of tension.
