Firm, somewhat floral, nutty and vegetal to herbaceous nose of yellow fruit with slightly smoky and dark berry aromas as well as hints of mussel shells and a trace of yeast. Polished, firm, juicy fruit with delicately creamy, a hint of crab meat and meadow flowers, lively, yet fine acidity, has a grip of ripe tannin, a hint of redcurrants and blackcurrant leaves, lots of chalky minerality, slight varietal bitterness, hints of maritime tones on a very good, increasingly juicy, slightly sweetish finish.
