2021 Südsteiermark DAC Ehrenhausen Sauvignon Blanc Ortswein trocken STK, Styria/Steiermark, Austria

Slightly developed, somewhat nutty, buttery and flavoursome nose of yellow fruit with a hint of yellow spice, wasabi and a hint of tobacco. Clear, ripe, firm, quite juicy fruit with a slightly sweetish melt, some blackcurrants and fennel, lively, almost present acidity, has a grip of ripe tannin, good persistence, hints of nutmeg and caramel, salty minerality, a hint of candied citrus zest on a very good finish.
