2020 Südsteiermark DAC Ried Hochstermetzberg Rheinriesling Grosse STK Ried trocken, Styria/Steiermark, Austria

Somewhat developed, nutty and slightly smoky nose with tart, rather calm yellow fruity notes and dried vegetal to tobacco aromas. Slightly melting, sweetish-tart fruit with smoky, nutty and again dried-vegetable to tobacco notes, present acidity, noticeable phenolic grip, certain depth, clear minerality, firm structure, persistent, very good, grippy and spicy, acid-rich, also slightly buttery finish, in which ripe juice finally comes through again.
