2020 Südsteiermark DAC Ried Hochstermetzberg Sauvignon Blanc Grosse STK Ried trocken, Styria/Steiermark, Austria

Ripe, firm and very dense, somewhat tobacco-like, nutty and vegetal to ethereal-herbal nose of yellow fruit with nuances reminiscent of mango, fennel and root vegetables. Polished, firm and concentrated, ripe fruit with cool vegetal flavours, a hint of candied citrus fruit and hints of green tobacco, lively acidity, has a grip of ripe tannin, dense and persistent, some depth, salty and smoky minerality, nut butter in the background, very good to long finish with delicate sweetness.
