2019 Südsteiermark DAC Ried Hochstermetzberg Sauvignon Blanc Grosse STK Ried trocken, Styria/Steiermark, Austria

Very lightly developed, firm and quite deep, somewhat tobacco, nutty and a hint of smokiness with restrained yellow fruity aromas and quite distinct black berry tones. Ripe, juicy, tightly knitted fruit, very fine acidity and some grip of ripe, crumbly tannin, nutty tones, dried planty to herbal notes, again also clearly dark aromas on the palate, slight warmth, lasting, good depth, peppery and a hint of fennel-spicy in the background, lots of salty minerality, very good to long, juicy, planty-spicy, a hint smoky and again very mineral finish.
