2021 Vulkanland Steiermark DAC Sauvignon Blanc trocken, Styria/Steiermark, Austria

Tart, finely vegetal and reminiscent of redcurrant leaves with mainly white fruity aromas, light floral nuances and hints of white pepper. Ripe, calm, somewhat melting fruit, fine acidity and grip of crumbly tannin, chalky and almondy-nutty tones, good persistence, some warmth, red and black berry nuances, some power and depth, still young, very good finish with light juice, hints of smoke and again nutty flavours.
