Clear, quite firm and polished nose with fine black and also slightly red berry aromas, some cherries, leather, floral tones and hints of black olives and oregano. Taut, tangy, youthful fruit, some acidity and fine, youthful, rather firm tannins, persistent on the palate, smoky hints, again a little oregano, bacony nuances, salty and almost a little chalky minerality, a hint of bitter chocolate, also dark ethereal spice, still undeveloped, good complexity and depth, very good, again taut finish.

Best to drink: Mitte 2024 bis 2030+. What our ratings mean
