2018 Vulkanland Steiermark DAC Ried Hochwarth Sauvignon Blanc trocken, Styria/Steiermark, Austria

Firm, somewhat nutty and herbaceous, also reminiscent of fennel with yellow fruity notes, a hint of celery and floral nuances. Nutty also in the mouth, melting and a little buttery, ripe, somewhat warm fruit, fennel-like tones, a little smoke and again also butter, clear minerality in the background, persistent, has power, red berry hints, a little vanilla, very good, again melting and warm finish with ethereal hints and noticeable alcohol
