2015 Vulkanland Steiermark trocken Hermada, STK Klassik, Styria/Steiermark, Austria

Firm nose, black berries and sour cherries, dried herbs, hint of tobacco, some juinper, pepper and licorice. Ripe, juicy, fairly cool and fairly firm fruit on the palate, fine youthful tannins, nutty notes, hint of chocolate, light spicy notes, licorice, good substance and persistence, coffee in the background, salty notes develop with aeration, still uindeveloped, some grip on a very good, firm, juicy, spicy finish.
