2009 Vulkanland Steiermark Ried Hochwarth Sauvignon Blanc trocken Domäne Stürgkh, Styria/Steiermark, Austria

Fairly cool nose, citrus and pomaceous fruit, light nutty notes, some spicy oak, elegantly tart vegetal notes, some spicy notes reminiscent of camomile, earthy and mineral notes. Quite concentrated on the palate, dry and at the same time elegantly juicy fruit, some spicy old oak, vegetal nad earthy notes, elegant acidity, persistent and has substance, elegant bite, has some depth, quite creamy, prominent mineral notes, still fairly young, very good finish.
