Very shy nose, pomaceous fruit, hints of tea leaves, melon and herbs, delicate vegetal and mineral notes, slightly matt oaky notes. Bitter and leafy notes on the palate, some more matt oak, hint of undergrowth and some mushrooms, delicately sweet, compact melon and Mediterranean fruit, also some dried medicinal herbs, preserved yellow fruit and rosewood, moderate acidity, full-bodied and voluminous, but also slightly brittle, hint of dark caramel, slightly bitter finish. The oak makes the wine appear more tired than it probably is, can probably still mature.
