Nose slightly dominated by oak, gives a slightly matt overall impression, lychees, honeydew melon and some dried orange. Juicy on the palate, but again shows prominent oak, roasted notes and astringent oak tannins, elegant acidity, style not totally dry, full-bodied and creamy, smoky notes on an attractive to good finish. Good wine, but too heavy on the oak.

Best to drink: Bis 2009+. What our ratings mean
