Very slightly warm and somewhat sweet fruit, relatively present acidity, candy notes on the palate, restrained tannic grip., herbal to planty nuances, a hint of exoticism, good to very good, again sweet finish.
Common name in German-speaking countries for the Riesling, to clearly distinguish it from the (unrelated) Welschriesling. See also under Rhein.
