Relatively cool nose of predominantly blue berries with herbaceous and peppery aromas, a hint of sour cherry and hints of root vegetables. Tart, relatively juicy fruit with distinctly smoky notes, somewhat earthy and vegetal on the palate, sandy tannins, certain persistence, a little spring onion and pepper in the background, nutty tones, delicate vegetal spiciness, very slightly muted and drying on a good to very good finish.
