2023 Nordheim Kreuzberg Pinot Meunier trocken, Franconia/Franken, Germany

Something slightly moldy, nutty, and vegetable-like, with a dried herb scent reminiscent of chicken meat and soup greens. Straightforward, delicately sweet fruit with a hint of caramel, dried mushrooms, and a hint of juniper, fine acidity, has some grip and sustainability, with background tones of barrel wood, also a bit of spice bread, chalky tones, good to very good finish.
