2022 Sylvaner Reserve trocken, Rheinhessen, Germany

Cool, youthful and quite firm, bright pomaceous fruit nose with citrus and stone fruit notes, fresh vegetal and floral tones and still a hint of yeast. Firm, still undeveloped fruit with fine vegetal, somewhat nutty, woody and smoky flavours, very fine acidity, some grip, good substance and persistence, sweetish melting, persistent on the palate, certain power, some depth, mineral hints, very good, grippy and again slightly smoky finish with bright juice. Needs to mature a little more.

Best to drink: Mitte 2024 bis 2029+. What our ratings mean
