2015 Riesling trocken EMT, Versteigerungswein, Rheinhessen, Germany

Fairly firm nose, partly preserved citrus fruit, green beans, stone fruit and a touch of white fruit, yeasty, delicate peppery and light mineral aromas. Firm, slightly off-dry, very juicy fruit on the palate, prominent yeasty notes, still slightly sulphurous, prominent acidity, some sugar candy, salty mineral notes, herbs and peppery traces, noticeable sugar candy, hint of dried fruit, firm tannins, still totally undeveloped, slightly sharp, has some depth, tremendous acid bite on a very good juicy, sweetish finish with herbaceous and mineral notes. Currently needs several days to open up to any extent.
