2018 Ried Steinberg Cabernet Franc trocken, Burgenland, Austria

Clear, a touch dried-vegetable scent of black berries and a little cherry with slightly peppery-spicy, herbal and tobacco notes. Juicy, quite polished fruit with nutty, a little toasty and tobacco wood spice, youthful, yet fine, crumbly tannins, some acidity, very slightly meaty tones, red pepper, good persistence, cocoa notes in the background, a hint of pepper, very good, quite juicy finish with quite fine spice.
