2013 Reserve trocken Cramer, Burgenland, Austria

Moderate spicy oak on the nose, light herbaceous notes, ripe black berries and a few plums, peppery traces, some black olives. Ripe, juicy fruit on the palate, delicate acid bite, fine youthful tannins, hint of tobacco and light nutty notes, peppery traces, some cocoa, still very slightly astringent, herbaceous traces, some more black olives, very good finish.

Editor note: Nutty nose, dried herbs, some bacon, toasted notes, partly preserved dark berries, some plums, prominent peppery aromas, light leathery notes and licorice, earthy notes. Clear, ripe, fairly juicy fruit on the palate, lively acidity, fine sandy tannins, still slightly astringent, herbaceous aromas, touch of cocoa, some peppery spice, good persistence, lively, prominent toasted notes, some depth, salty and herbaceous traces, slightly noticeable warm alcohol on a very good, juicy, spicy finish.
