2022 Wagram DAC Ried Hengstberg Grüner Veltliner trocken, Lower Austria/Niederösterreich, Austria

Cool, rather restrained, still slightly yeasty, somewhat vegetal to herbal and hints of smoky scent of yellow fruits with light red berry and peppery hints. Clear, still youthful, fine-juicy fruit with delicate waxy notes, fine acidity, has some grip and persistence, chalky and peppery tones, hints of butter and fennel in the background, very good finish.
