The winery is located in the municipality of Winnenden (Remstal-Stuttgart area) in the German wine-growing region of Württemberg. It was created in 1993 by merging the vineyards of the Klöpfer family in Winnenden and Siegloch in Cannstadt, at that time under the name Siegloch-Klöpfer. The business has been run by the brothers David and Markus Siegloch since 2013. The vineyards cover 10.5 hectares of vines in the single vineyards Haselstein and Holzenberg (Breuningsweiler), as well as Berg and Zuckerle (Bad Cannstadt). They are planted with the white wine varieties Riesling, Pinot Blanc, Muskateller, Müller-Thurgau and Sauvignon Blanc, as well as the red wine varieties Pinot Noir, Lemberger (Blaufränkisch), Merlot, Blauer Portugieser, Zweigelt, Muskat-Trollinger (Muscat d'Hamburg), Cabernet Franc, Syrah and Trollinger (Schiava Grossa). The vineyards are cultivated in a near-natural way, with attention paid to biodiversity, among other things. This includes cover crop with wild growing herbs as well as fertilisation by sowing, humus and organic fertiliser. All wines are fermented spontaneously and bottled without fining and filtration. The red wines are matured in wooden barrels. Bottle-fermented sparkling wines are also produced. Around 70,000 bottles of wine are produced annually.
