Firm, slightly animal scent of ripe, predominantly dark berries with herbaceous nuances, some blood, hay, dried flowers and tomato paste. Ripe, juicy, slightly warm fruit, some smoky and hints of roasted wood spice, a little dark chocolate in the background, preserved cherries, fine, youthful tannins and moderate acidity, good persistence, cooling herbal and mineral tones in the background, good to very good finish, very slightly reminiscent of redcurrant jelly.
