2022 Thüngersheim Spätburgunder VDP.Ortswein trocken, Franconia/Franken, Germany

Slightly nutty, tobacco and smoky aroma with slightly warm berry tones and floral traces. Clear, straightforward, rather red fruit, slightly smoky and nutty wood spice, some acid bite and ripe, still youthful tannins, good persistence, certain power and warmth, but also cooling mineral tones, a hint of coffee grounds in the background, good to very good, again slightly smoky finish.
