Tart, somewhat tobacco-like, dried vegetal and nutty-woody nose, more black than red berries, hint of cherries, mushroomy and bacony notes. Quite taut, tart fruit with smoky, slightly roasted and dried-vegetable to herbaceous flavours, a little peppery-ethereal spice on the palate, coffee notes, relatively present, somewhat sandy tannins, a little bitter chocolate, good to very good finish.

Best to drink: Ende 2024 bis 2027+. What our ratings mean
