Dried flowers on the nose, peppery notes, hint of tobacco, predominantly red berries and some cherries, hint of licorice, earthy notes. Coll, fairly light-bodied, tart fruit on the palate, fine dusty tannins, restrained nutty oak, hint of tobacco, touch of dark chocolate, fairly persistent, hint of citrus fruit, some cocoa and coffere, opens up significantly with aeration, shows depth and becomes more juicy, clear cotours, hint of mushrooms, very good firm, fairly tart grippy finish.
