2020 Südsteiermark DAC Ried Steinriegel Sauvignon Blanc trocken, Styria/Steiermark, Austria

Tart, quite firm and still somewhat muted, rather bright nose with restrained white and yellow fruit aromas, nutty tones, a little root vegetables, hints of wood, yeast and mineral hints. Firmly woven, ripe, bright, very slightly warm fruit with chalky, yeasty and quite distinctly vegetal aromas, fine acidity, some grip of friable tannin, some melting, good persistence, buttery traces, some depth, still undeveloped, very good, firm, tart, very mineral, only also still drying a little.
