2020 Südsteiermark DAC Kitzeck-Sausal Sauvignon Blanc Ortswein trocken, Styria/Steiermark, Austria

Restrained, somewhat herbaceous and floral citrus scent with white-fruity nuances, a little stone fruit as well as nutty and floral traces. Firmly woven, bright, tart fruit with yeasty, very slightly smoky as well as clearly chalky and salty aromas, taut, fine acidity, persistent on the palate, nutty traces in the background, hints of floral tones and black berries, still undeveloped, very good, firm finish with a hint of bacon and again lots of minerality.
