2019 Südsteiermark DAC Ried Gaisriegl Sauvignon Blanc trocken, Styria/Steiermark, Austria

Tart, somewhat dried-vegetable to tobacco, also slightly nutty aroma with yellow-fruity aromas, a little smoke, rather fresh herbs, limes and floral nuances. Cool, tart, bright fruit, clear, fresh planty aromas, a certain acidity and moderate tannin, still slightly yeasty tones, chalky minerality with salt notes, lasting, restrained power, smoky-specky nuances in the background, tones reminiscent of parsley, very good, tart-juicy, quite taut, again surprisingly cool and fresh finish with ethereal nuances.
