2018 Südsteiermark DAC Ried Gaisriegl Sauvignon Blanc trocken, Styria/Steiermark, Austria

Cool and bright, firm, somewhat vegetal to herbal and slightly nutty scent of yellow fruits with nuances very slightly reminiscent of butter. Quite polished, firm fruit with nutty and slightly mushroomy hints, lively acidity, delicate melting, some red berries on the palate, moderate tannin, dense and persistent, certain depth, slightly spicy wood aromas in the background, salty and light tobacco notes in the very good to long finish
