2015 Süd-Steiermark Riesling trocken Alte Reben, Styria/Steiermark, Austria

Firm, tart, concentrated nose, still rather closed, prominent yeasty and elegant vegetal notes, restrained tranquil yellow fruit, very delicate hint of butter, prominent mineral notes. Still largely undeveloped on the palate, very firm, tart but also ripe fruit, prominent yeasty notes, light buttery notes, very fine tannins, firm but also very elegant acidity, persistent and concentrated, fairly cool style, good depth, herbaceous and light floral traces, prominent lentils, quite complex, but still totally unapproachable, some bite, polished, very good long, cool finish. Needs lots of time to mature.
