2022 Astheim Chardonnay VDP.Ortswein trocken "R", Franconia/Franken, Germany

Cool, firm and polished, delicately smoky, fine citrus nose with nutty, mineral and herbal-plant nuances, a bit of shellfish meat and a hint of citrus zest. Juicy, dense, polished fruit, lively, very fine acidity and delicate grip, smoky hints, slightly nutty and herbal-plant on the palate, has elegance, almost nobility, sustainable, good depth, cool minerality, very good, juicy finish with pull and very fine spice.
