2021 Chardonnay trocken "R", Franconia/Franken, Germany

Cool and polished, firm, bright nose with very fine citrus-accentuated yellow-fruity aromas, delicate planty notes, herbaceous strings and hints of barrel as well as clear minerality. Clear, finely juicy, cool, polished fruit, very fine acidity and delicate grip, elegant style, persistent, certain depth, salty tones in the background that become increasingly clear, smoky nuances, also very delicate roast, has tension and at the same time a certain light-footedness, very good to long, cool, polished, finely juicy finish with bite, salt, cool juice and smoky nuances. Still needs to mature.
