2021 Bürgstadt Centgrafenberg Spätburgunder VDP.Grosses Gewächs trocken, Franconia/Franken, Germany

Clear, firm and complex, fresh bouquet of red and black berries with herbal aromas, a little sour cherry, tomato and floral tones and restrained hints of wood. Taut, fine-juicy, somewhat smoky fruit, fine, youthful tannin, peppery and other partly ethereal spicy aromas, slightly nutty on the palate, persistent, has depth and bite, still little developed, juniper traces, cloves and nutmeg, clearly salt in the background, medium power, very good, firm, juicy and spicy finish with grip. Still wins with air.
