2020 Klingenberg Schloßberg Spätburgunder Grosses Gewächs trocken, Franconia/Franken, Germany

Clear, polished, quite fine and deep aroma of small red and black berries with noble tobacco aromas, pepper, aubergine and beetroot, delicate dried herbal and tobacco aromas and a hint of tomato paste. Polished, fine-juicy, ripe fruit, nutty and moderately toasty wood aromas with some coffee and dark chocolate, crumbly-sandy tannin, some bite, good persistence, very slight warmth, delicately reminiscent of spice bread, in the background some salt, coffee beans, hints of artichoke and aubergine, ethereal traces, very good finish.
