2019 Bürgstadt Weißburgunder VDP.Ortswein trocken "R", Franconia/Franken, Germany

Clear, firm and quite deep, somewhat smoky and lightly woody nose with cool, polished, rather citrusy yellow-fruity aromas, hints of herbs and quite present minerality. Tight, cool, juicy, polished fruit, still rather closed, light nutty to woody aromas, again a little smoke, lively acidity, some grip, good depth, cool minerality, completely undeveloped, very good, tight, tart-juicy finish with bite. Needs to mature.
