Clearly developed, nutty, somewhat meaty and iodine-like nose with red and black berries, bloody traces, a hint of dried fruit, dried flowers and leather, soup herbs, dried mushrooms and a touch of tar. Ripe, dense, yet again well-developed, rather warm fruit with a hint of malt and some soup herbs, nutty, subtly roasted and slightly bitter chocolate notes, grip of much soft tannin, also some bite, pronounced, herbal, but also dark, peppery-juniper ether, a lot of salt, slightly oxidative tones, a hint of malt, certain depth, very good, quite firm, again ethereal finish. More developed than expected and now - at least in this bottle form - rather ready to drink.
