2020 Südsteiermark DAC Sauvignon Blanc trocken "Sand & Schotter", Styria/Steiermark, Austria

Bright yellow fruity nose with herbal notes, elderflower, hints of black berries and still a little yeast. Slender, fine, tart fruit, planty to herbal spiciness, some yeast and a hint of bacon, fine, lively acidity, noticeable grip of crumbly tannin, smoky and mineral tones, again a hint of elderberry, has more power than the low alcohol suggests, very good, quite tight, tart and spicy finish with clear minerality.
