2020 Vulkanland Steiermark DAC Ried Karlaberg Morillon Reserve trocken, Styria/Steiermark, Austria

Somewhat nutty-woody, planty to herbal and hints of mushroomy scent of yellow fruits with a hint of butter and bacon. Straightforward, slightly melting fruit with nuances reminiscent of nut butter and pepper, fine acidity, noticeable tannin, some persistence but no depth, smoky wood notes in the background, hints of caramel and butter, salty tones, has power, quite good, slightly warm finish.
