The winery is located in the municipality of Göttlesbrunn in the Lower Austrian wine region of Carnuntum. It is managed by Philipp Grassl. The vineyards comprise 25 hectares of vineyards in the areas Aubühel, Bärnreiser, Kräften, Neuberg, Rosenberg and Schüttenberg. They are 80% with the red wine varieties Zweigelt, St. Laurent, Merlot, BlaufränkischPinot Noir, Syrah and Cabernet Sauvignon, as well as 20% of the white wine varieties Grüner Veltliner, Welschriesling, Chardonnay and Sauvignon Blanc. Since the 2015 vintage, the cultivation has been carried out according to the guidelines of organic viticulture (without certification).
The white wines and red wines vinified in the classic style are fermented and aged in stainless steel tanks or in large wooden barrels. The red wines are vinified without additives (yeasts, enzymes) and without fining with low sulphur input. The premium red wines are fermented spontaneously in wooden fermentation racks with partly vineyard-own yeasts and aged in French barriques. These include the red wine cuvées Bärnreiser (Zweigelt, Merlot, CS, Blaufränkisch) and Rubin Carnuntum (Zweigelt, Blaufränkisch) and the pure red wine St. Laurent Alte Reben. Around 150,000 bottles of wine are produced annually. The winery is a member of the Rubin Carnuntum Weingüter and Traditionsweingüter Österreich winegrowers' associations.
