2020 Südsteiermark DAC Ried Kranachberg Rottriegl Sauvignon Blanc trocken, Styria/Steiermark, Austria

Relatively cool, firm, somewhat vegetal to herbaceous and hints of bacon on the nose, yellow fruit with a hint of dried mushrooms and a few dark berries. Clear, ripe, firm fruit with some sweetish melting, lively acidity, light tannic grip, good substance and persistence, salty minerality, nutty and smoky wood tones and light maritime notes in the background, certain depth, very good, slightly warm finish with buttery and candied nutty flavours.
