2020 Südsteiermark DAC Ried Kranachberg Rottriegl Morillon trocken, Styria/Steiermark, Austria

Firm, somewhat nutty, vegetal to dried herbaceous and hints of mushroom on the nose, yellow fruit with a hint of tobacco and pepper. Polished, firm, ripe fruit with noticeable melting, fine acidity, has a grip of ripe tannin, good persistence, smoky wood notes in the background, hints of liquorice and coffee grounds, dark minerality, very good finish with a certain alcohol warmth, melting and wood.
