2019 Südsteiermark DAC Ried Kranachberg Rottriegl Sauvignon Blanc trocken, Styria/Steiermark, Austria

Relatively cool, firm and deep, somewhat nutty and clearly green-vegetable to herbaceous nose, yellow fruit with a hint of white berries, dried mushrooms and fennel. Firm, calm fruit with a noticeable smoothness, a hint of red berries and citrus zest, lively acidity, has some grip, good substance and persistence, nutty wood tones in the background, certain depth, salty and chalky minerality, buttery smoothness, hints of nettles and smoke on a very good, alcohol-warm finish.
