2022 Wachau DAC Ried Pichl Point Grüner Veltliner Smaragd® trocken, Lower Austria/Niederösterreich, Austria

Delicately smoky and vegetal to slightly tobacco-like pomaceous fruit nose with citrus notes, mineral traces and a hint of pepper. Ripe, firm, tart, juicy fruit with grip, nutty and tobacco to slightly woody tones, fine, quite lively acidity, good persistence and substance, medium strength, minerality in the background, a hint of dark berries, smoky traces, very good, spicy and somewhat melting finish.
