The winery is located in the municipality of Wösendorf in the Lower Austrian wine-growing region of Wachau. The winery was founded in 2020 by Verena Axmann and Franz Stefan Pichler. The credo in winemaking is "patience & time". The vineyards cover four hectares of vineyards in the Birn (Spitzer Graben), Hochrain, Höll, Kaiserberg(Dürnstein), Kollmitz (Weißenkirchen) vineyards, some of which are very old. The white wine varieties Grüner Veltliner and Riesling are cultivated, as well as some Pinot Blanc and Chardonnay. The winery has been in conversion to organic farming since 2021. After selective harvesting by hand, the grapes are transported in small crates or butts to the cellar for processing. There they are either subjected to whole bunch pressing or lightly crushed to achieve extraction of the ingredients from the berry skins. Cellar work is carried out according to the non-invasive principle of "as much as necessary, as little as possible". The grape must can sediment overnight to settle the lees. After the clarified must has been drawn off, controlled fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks or wooden barrels in order to preserve the aromas typical of the variety and the vineyard. Afterwards, the wines are stored for a long time on the full ye ast or fine yeast. The winery's premium wines include various Rieslings and Grüner Veltliner Wachau DAC in the Vinea Wachau quality categories (Federspiel, Smaragd). The winery is a member of Vinea Wachau Nobilis Districtus.
