2015 Dienheim Tafelstein Pinot Noir trocken, Rheinhessen, Germany

Light vegetal notes and some wilted flowers on the nose, predominantly red berries, earthy and mineral traces, light citrus notes and a hint of tobacco. Fairly juicy, ripe, partly preserved fruit on the palate, smoky, spicy oak, hint of tobacco, touch of soup greens, integrated fine sandy tannins, slightly noticeable warm alcohol, sweetish and creamy, not particularly deep, hint of root vegetables in the background, war, slightly sweetish finish.
